MVB Financial Corp details how it reached carbon neutrality.

NASDAQ listed MVB Financial Corp. (Nasdaq: MVBF) has announced that it’s now carbon neutral! November 2021 marked the beginning of MVB’s partnership with GreenFeet which saw the company carry out a detailed carbon emissions inventory and the subsequent implementation of a number of measures and initiatives to reduce MVB’s environmental impact. GreenFeet is delighted to continue guiding MVB in its efforts to ensure sustainability remains a priority within the company.

GreenFeet guided and facilitated this process by carrying out an emissions calculation for MVB, covering a range of different categories including team member commutes, air travel, buildings and shipping. This information was then used to populate MVB’s Emissions Report. This initial emissions report from 2020/2021 has now given MVB the solid footing to enable the company to track their progress and manage it through the use of GreenFeet’s sustainability software platform into the future and we at GreenFeet are excited to be part of an incredible sustainability journey.
